What is the Sterling Aftercare Warranty?

The Sterling Aftercare warranty is provided for select vehicles, offering 2–3 years or up to 100,000 km of coverage for the engine and transmission system, as well as for the hybrid battery (if applicable). Sterling Warranty is exclusive to vehicles imported with it and sold through dealers to end users in Sri Lanka.

What types of vehicles qualify for the Sterling Warranty?

Only vehicles that have passed strict inspections and are exported by Sterling Japan are eligible. These are carefully selected, reconditioned Japanese vehicles.

What does the Sterling Warranty cover?

It covers the engine, transmission system, and hybrid battery (if present) for a period of 2–3 years or up to 100,000 km, whichever comes first.

How do I activate my Sterling Warranty?

To activate your warranty, call the hotline 0117 600 800 within 14 days of purchase. You must also submit a copy of the vehicle’s Certificate of Registration (CR) via WhatsApp to the above number for warranty activation.

When does the warranty period begin?

The warranty starts from the vehicle’s first registration date at the RMV, as indicated on the CR copy.

Sterling Aftercare Guarantee

The Sterling Aftercare Guarantee was introduced by Sterling Japan, a decade ago, to address the dearth of after sales service providers for automobiles that are imported to Sri Lanka by independent vehicle importers.
The warranty offers a two-year cover for the engine and transmission system of a vehicle, as well as a three-year cover for the hybrid battery (if so equipped).
What we assure under this warranty is the deliverance of a vehicle that is carefully selected after a thorough and scientific inspection of its condition. Our relationship with the customers extends far beyond the point of sale, where we are geared to provide all related maintenance and repair services at our state-of-the-art facilities.
